Hi, I’m Sheri, registered dietitian, director of Eat Great Feel Great and unlike any dietitian you have ever met. I know that there is a wealth of free information available off of the internet….so why would anyone pay to see a dietitian? My passion is giving highly personalised advice and getting to the root of whatever diet-related or medical issue you may be struggling with. My gentle and compassionate approach and my ability to “think outside the box” means I am able come up with creative solutions even to the most complex nutrition problems. I’m a very firm believer in “practicing what I preach” which means I will never ask you to do something which I am not prepared to do myself. I have applied the principles of Intuitive Eating to my own life and have been promoting this way of eating for over 20 years. My credentials and background include:

Having looked online for a dietitian, I came across Sheri and decided to book an appointment based upon the many great recommendations. I found her to be very informative and insightful into both my current health and the next steps we should take to improve my diet and eating habits. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sheri. I was looking for a dietitian that would truly help me make the changes I needed in my life with respect to good diet to support my health. Sheri goes beyond providing advice, hints and tips, etc. and makes it a real step-by-step practical process. I was really helped by take-home activities I needed to do following the consultation and then reviewing these in the follow-up consultation. These were simple and yet made sure you could implement these changes in your daily routine. She dedicates the time for you and follows up with you to check how you are doing. She is caring for her patients and is also highly professional. I would easily recommend her to a friend. Thank you. Yousef A (October 2017)
Thank you so much for helping me work up a holistic plan that works for me – diet, supplements and exercise for health all covered in one package. You have successfully navigated my bariatric surgery and early onset menopause -quite a challenging package to consider! The level of support has exceeded my expectations, flexible locations, times and contact methods all backed up with check ins in between sessions to keep me on track. Whilst I am a long way from perfect, we have implemented a number of things that feel sustainable for the longer term and I am seeing the results of these which is the best encouragement to continue there can be. After breast surgery, radio therapy and then four years of taking medication, I put on about a stone and a half in weight. I assumed it would disappear after I finished the course of the drug but it stayed resolutely round my midriff. With advice and guidance from Sheri, I have started to lose weight but am eating a very varied and tasty diet (which still includes the odd glass or two of wine)!

Through her coaching and mentoring, Sheri, made me realise that its not just about food, its about lifestyle changes, knowing about yourself, challenging yourself in a good way and most importantly making incremental changes over time. Many thanks.

Sheri’s approach not only helped me build a much more balanced diet that accommodated all my food sensitivities but also helped me think about the underlying reasons for my weight gain both biological and emotional reasons. On top of that Sheri is extremely knowledgeable and identified some significant underlying health problems that had been overlooked by other health professionals for years. I cannot thank her enough for all her fantastic advice and support. I would recommend her to everyone!

I was given Sheri’s contact details by my father-in-law, and I am so glad that he did.
I have suffered for 7 years plus with Candida and Leaky Gut, and although I knew what I needed to do, I found the help of Sheri and the advice she gave me was exceptional. Not only did she teach me to understand my symptoms, but to step back and listen to my body’s needs. She gave me action plans to follow, which helped enormously and to understand what foods triggered my symptoms. I still have a long way to go with what foods my body can and can’t have, but I will definitely be staying in contact with Sheri for future appointments. I personally feel if I hadn’t of visited Sheri, my diet would have spiraled out of control, and my candida would have only got worse. I would 150% recommend Sheri to anyone. Now I can enjoy all the nice foods, but in moderation, and enjoy eating out with my little girl, and showing her about all things are good but in moderation.

By the time I contacted Sheri I was feeling pretty frustrated, as no matter what I did I couldn’t lose the weight I had gained since menopause had arrived. However, I also had some health considerations that made weight loss a little bit more tricky.
What impressed me the most was Sheri’s approach, she takes time to understand your individual circumstances and ensures that she takes the healthiest route towards weight loss. Firstly, looking for all the factors that may contribute towards the weight gain, including health considerations as well as lifestyle. This was such a motivational factor for me, working towards the healthiest, most vibrant me feels good and improves my body image, rather than just focusing on the numbers.
In fact very quickly, with a few adjustments I simply didn’t want to eat and drink in the same way anymore and was inspired to take a look at my overall self care. Additionally she is always available to help and her frequent posts and blogs are interesting and keep the motivation going.
Thank you Sheri, it was an inspiring way to work and I am well on my way to my goals, but most importantly you have equipped me with what I need to help myself.
